Located at Alapocas Run State Park on the corner of Foulk Rd. and Weldin Rd. The Can-Do Playground just might be my 6yr old daughters favorite park. It is also one of my favorite places to take her. Nestled back in the canopy of trees down a short path from the parking lot, the Can-Do Playground has a lot to offer.

There are two separate play structures in the park. One for toddlers, which is immediately to your left as you enter and a larger one for older children towards the back right corner. Both are handicap accessible and have plenty to do to keep your child entertained. Something that I think is very clever are the large canvas umbrellas attached to the top of the playing areas, helping to create some shade while the children play. The larger of the two structures features a rock wall for climbing, stepping stone pedestals to jump across and multiple slides to climb up, slide down or slip through.

Also found at the Can-Do Playground is a large sandbox with multiple cranes that the children can use to dig in the sand. Always a popular spot, there is even a gazebo right next to it so parents can sit and watch in the shade or join in, in the fun.

Swings for EVERYONE!!!

Whether you have an infant, toddler, big kid or child with special needs. The Can-Do Playground has a swing for you. Plenty of swings with plenty of hang time to be had.

The newest addition to the park is their climb and balance center, equipped with soft rubber playground to cushion the fall of all of our little ones.

With so many great parks in the Brandywine area, move Can-Do Playground to the top of your list. A great park with a great atmosphere. Plenty of places for lots of children to play and plenty of places for adults to hang out when not joining in on the fun. Picnic tables, a water fountain and bathrooms can be found right outside the entrance to the park, so you don’t have to travel far for a break. See you soon at the Can-Do Playground!
